Birthing the writer within me

All too often I held it in. When I did say to the one and only I loved or might still love, it made no sense. A writer writes, a dancer dances, a singer sings, a scientist experiments, a runner runs and a Christian fully belongs to Christ. All these I am defined, but I am here to explore the writer and the Christian. In all things I do I am always Christ's child and a friend of God.
I visited facebook and I read. Who wants to be heard? Everyone! And so, some write. But who truly listens? As a writer and poet I know that no one listens. Ears are clogged and hearts often hard. I listen at times, but do I really hear. Most of the time we are not heard and this I know because most of the time I don't listen. In each season there are voices I hear and voices I do not.
These writings are to the voices that hear. As a writer, I have been passionate about romanticism and love; not Eros, Mania and Pragma but Agape, Philia and Storge. However, my opinion is not limited to my interests; but it serves me best to paint the colors of my interests.


Introduction

Agape: To the High God who loves unconditionally; without him there is no true Agape. He is the first and the last, and he is Love.


Storge and Philia:
This is where it all began in trying to avoid loss in Eros and Mania that I had seen in the older generations. From Storge,Philia and Agape, I hoped to achieve what was not achieved by the generation before me.

Insight:
Agape, unconditional love is the true love that I and people are truly seeking. It's only that we fail to find it except through God. We might achieve Storge and Philia but we yearn for Agape still.
