A good balanced diet with whole grains, fruits, vegetables, low red meats, high vegetable oils (with omega 3, like Olive oil), fish or other white meat, and/or legumes is recommended for good health, including good hair, skin and nails.
Toning Down Hot - Spicy Food, Chili, Paprika & Other Peppers.
Coconut Milk is helpful in toning down spicy food. I took a can of low fat and low calories coconut milk and put my restaurant bought chicken tikka masala (that they said was chili free upon request) to tone it down. This was an on the spot experiment and the results were quite positive.
I added whole grain Hukkura rice mixed with Omega Long grain rice to the white rice that was included with the meal to increase fiber content. I also added colored greens to increase nutrients, vitamins and fibers.
Water is my main healthy beverage that I recommend because most of the body is made up of water. Other drinks can have high content of sugars and preservatives and could cause acidity or a PH imbalance if taken too often. Water is recommended for most people; and those that have serious health issues that require low fluids need to discuss with a health provider about how much water and other fluids they should drink.
