My Trust
My trust is not in men or women
My trust is in the Lord
Whom makes the days
Knows the days
And directs my feet
Mankind, like me
How can I put my hope in me
Or one like me
Is that not disrespect to the one greater than all
One who feeds all and clothes all
My hope is in the Lord
Not in my mother or father
Not in my brother or sister
My hope in the Lord
The Lord is my shepherd
Whom shall I trust
Man whom live to satisfy their lusts
Women who give birth to what they don't know
No!
My trust is in the Lord
And the Lord alone
Whom shall I fear
My God and my God alone
Should I fear man and what he can do to me
No!
I fear the one who has power to give
And to take away my life
I fear one who died so that I can live
The Lord
Whom I love the most
The Lord God Almighty
Who thunders
Greater than all
Mightier than everything
Who is like the Lord
Beautiful and just
Who is like the Lord
Gracious and excellent
What a shame forgetting whom my Lord is
For there is no one like the Lord
Holy and righteous
Man has put their hope in money
Money is paper, it blows away
Shall I put my hope in men
Men who will look another woman
Shall I put my hope in women
Women who are like me
No!
I will put my trust in the Lord, the Lord alone
Whom I fear
Whom I love above life
Man in their lust will kill me
Idolatry will murder my heart
For it will never satisfy me
There is no one looking out for me always
But one; the Lord
For life is Him, Way, Truth
Whom does not love the Lord
Let him or her search his heart
For none compares to the Lord God
Majestic, sitting on the Throne
βFor I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.β- Jeremiah 29:11
